"This asset is worth the $20, maybe even more. It amazingly recreates the graphics used by the PlayStation 1 down to the barely noticeable errors the console would produce. Definitely one of the more detailed assets I've come across. I had a small issue using PSXEffects at one point and contacted the developer for support. They responded within 30 minutes and helped me fix my obscure problem within a day! They were really helpful and I couldn't be happier with the customer service."

"I'm not one for hyperbole, but this is honestly worth twice as much, if not more. I needed something to emulate PSX graphics for a project and it worked like a charm. Easy to use, well documented, and it comes with a good example scene to get started. It captures the look of the original PlayStation incredibly accurately. It didn't have a feature I wanted so I wrote the developer to see how hard it would be to implement on my own. He wrote back extremely quickly and he said he'd add it in his next build. You can't really do better than that. I'd recommend it without a single reservation."

"The asset is doing a phenomenal job of recreating the atmosphere and look of the PS1 games. You have dozens of options to tweak to your liking and it is easily combined with other effects - it provides an awesome base for every game that plans to use some kind of retro effects. The developer added PBR workflow in a few days after I sent a support ticket - most of the waiting time was due to the asset store approval - he is very friendly and the implementation works like a charm - I am really really stunned by this. All in all I can say only good things about this asset, so I leave five stars for functionality and five stars for support."

"I saw this on reddit and had to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised when I did! Setup was super simple and it just worked. My desktop is interactive and reacts to the mouse & clicks, showing some cool visuals. I've just gotten started with it but expect to build some fun stuff going forward :)"
